Matt is a friend and mentor. He teaches... or more correctly, inspires writers with his insight and encouragement. He helped me get going writing songs and finding my own voice.
A wonderful and funny songwriter in his own right, he performs all around the area and teaches classes online practically year-round.
He also runs the Hidden River Song Camp, a yearly retreat held on the Washington coast every summer.
