On my studio wall, right over the computer monitor on which I'm writing this, is a signed poster from Jennifer Warnes' last Portland concert. She is front and center to remind me that there are those in the entertainment business who go their own way, do it on their own terms, find success that is self-satisfying, and to hell with the 'experts' in the music business who try to put talent in a box and sell it like soap powder. Famous Blue Raincoat and The Well are two of the albums I listen to over and over again for craft, depth and performance. Jennifer, please tour more.
